It's been so long since I posted anything that I even changed the name of the blog!
Finally things are happening on the Nelson adoption front!! Praise God we are so excited! We are currently pursuing the adoption of a little boy in Colombia. We are still waiting for some reports before we get the "official" referral but Troy and I have already fallen in love. The MIRACLE of adoption- once God shows you your little son or daughter that is meant for your family your heart just grabs on and won't let go. We are getting very excited and can't wait to travel to bring him home!
I'm just in awe of the Lord lately! I look over the last 2 years and the journey He has taken us on. We started with Honduras and it is so awesome to see how he just redirected our steps. Lighting the path just enough so that we could see where to take the next step. Many steps of faith. Sometimes the path we are supposed to walk is not lit up- it's not always clear where we are exactly supposed to go. But God is there and gives us just enough direction to take that next step. My heart's cry these last two years has been, "Lord, help me see You! Hear You! Follow You! Help me to love You MORE!" What a miracle to look back and see how God has led us straight to this little boy!
